I think it might have been Two Beds And A Coffee Machine.
I know the song was played on Dawson's Creek once.

I heard once the SG song - "I Want You" on Dawson's Creek, you think maybe it's that track?
:)
I Want You
Anytime I need to see your face
I just close my eyes
And I am taken to a place where your crystal mind and
Magenta feelings take up shelter in the base of my spine
Sweet like a chic-a-cherry cola
I don't need to try to explain;
I just hold on tight
And If it happens again, I might move so slightly
To the arms and the lips and the face of the human cannonball
That I need to, I want to
Come Stand a little bit closer
Breathe in and get a bit higher
You'll never know what hit you
When I get to you
Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh, I'd die to find out
Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh I'd die to find out
I'm the kind of person who endorses a deep commitment
Getting comfy getting perfect is what I live for
But a look, and then a smell of perfume
It's like I'm down on the floor
And I Don't know what I'm in for
Conversation has a time and place
In the interaction of a lover and a mate,
But the time of talking, using symbols, using words
Can be likened to a deep sea diver who is swimming with a raincoat
Come stand a little bit closer
Breathe in and get a bit higher
You'll never know what hit you
When I get to you
Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh, I'd die to find out
Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh I'd die to find out
Anytime I need to see your face
I just close my
And I am taken to a place where your crystal mind and
Magenta feelings take up shelter in the base of my spine
Sweet like a chic-a-cherry cola
I don't need to try to explain;
I just hold on tight
And If it happens again, I might move so slightly
To the arms and the lips and the face of the human cannonball
That I need to, I want to
Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh, I'd die to find out
Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh I'd die to find out
Love,
Hilla.

Hello Hilla and everbody!
Thanks, but the song is not I Want You  As I said, it named as Dawson's Creek Tune, only. Unless it's not a song sang by Savage Garden, but I'm sure, it's Darren's voice!!!!! Maybe I'll try to listen it, write and post here :)
Anyway, thanks again!
Hugs,

From memory, a few SG songs were played on Dawson's Creek in different episodes... can't remember which ones now though.

Hi all!
All right, during my coffee break I TRIED to listen the song and write the lyric. It's something like this:
"And she takes another step
Slowly she opens the door
Check that he is sleeping
Pick up all the broken glass and furniture on the floor
Been up half the night screaming now it's time to get away
Pack up the kids in the car
Another bruise to try and hide
Another alibi to write
Chorus:
Another ditch in the road
You keep moving
Another stop sign
You keep moving on
And the years go by so fast
Wonder how I ever made it through..."
And after that the song talks about children and babies, but I couldn't pay attention enough. So, is this song really exist or I really can't recognize Darren's voice ? :D
Thanks!

That song is "Two Beds And A Coffee Machine," and it's off of Savage Garden's Affirmation album. There was also a mix on a single with just vocals and piano (no strings).

Yes!!!! Thanks Phill! Now I found the lyric and, wow, it's great! Sad, but poetic. What's the context of this song ?
I think I got exactly the mix because I didn't hear any strings. Oh boy, I'm happy now! :D
Thanks again!!!

The strings are only in the background so you might have the album version (which is more common). In any case, the song is about a woman leaving an abusive relationship (and taking the kids with her).

Hello Phill!
Two Beds and a Coffee Machine... strange title, but I like it :) And as I said, the song is sad. The piano draws out the suffering but it's full of lyricism. And I payed attention and got hear the strings (violin or something like that), thank you!
