hey all...
i am a total mess... I just heard "I can't help falling in love" The old elvis song. I burst into tears half way through. What an exceptional talent has darren. That voice is so very pure. His version is brillant and I think Elvis would be proud.

Have you heard Darren singing George Michael's "Last Christmas"?
It was also full of emotions! (makes me think of Daniel Jones :!: )

Yeah Last Christmas is another amazing cover version.
Darren has such a unique voice, that when he does covers
they just sound amazing and nothing like the original.

yeah - i've heard both and think they're both great! :D CHFIL is my favourite of the two though cos as everyone has said it is sung with such feeling..

My absolute favourite cover song of Darren's is In Your Eyes... total magic... just piano and Darrens wonderful voice.... I get so emotional when I listen to it..

oh, I totally understand. The first time I heard ICHFILWY I cried for two day everytime I thought about it. The "In you Eyes" that is so amazing!!

All of Darren's covers are amazing. He has so much feeling and emotion that he can take a song and totally make it new and make it his own. You feel his heart and soul in the song. So amazing!!

it is an amazin song he does it better than elvis and ub40 put together i always cry to it.......he sounds soooooo amazin but at the beginnin he sings really low which really doesnt suit his style of singin he sounds really different!!!!!!!! but still lovely........

I never really liked the original Sexual Healing but i really like Darrens version. :D

I heard In Your Eyes for the first time today - i've never heard the original but i don't think it could be as good as Darrens version. Pure brilliance. :D

I wish u heaven ......is my fave of the covers that Darren has done ........I love his version so much ......it is a perfect vehicle for his angels voice

Altho of course I love all the others too but that is my fave :D

I really love his covers, for example - "One Of Us" (live!) and "In Your Eyes" (Beautiful...even my mom said it's better than the original), "Last Christmas" (love it!) and of course, "Cant Help Falling In Love With You".

Oh yes.

I listen to that song 11000000000000000 times a day and it makes me cry almost everytime i listen :oops: :cry: :cry: It is so beautifull.

Really touches my heart.

I really can't say I looove "I Wish You Heaven". But it's a good song. There's just something preventing me form loooving it. But I still like it, just not on a strong scale.

I love "In Your Eyes"! When I first heard it, it just overwhelmed me and I cried!!!!!!! Darren's vocals are so powerful!!!!

I love "Can't Help Falling In Love" also. When heard the first note, I just went. "Wow. That was preetty low." Then as the song progressed, it slowly scaled higher and higher. Amazing. This song really tested Darren's vocal range. And I think it is a perfect 10!!!

Sexual Healing was good too. There's something about the way he sings that makes every song he touches magical! And I am very proud to call myself a fan of his music! :)

I've always liked Peter Gabriel's version of "In Your Eyes", but when I heard Darren's.... OMG... I was totally in love with it. Nothing I love more than a man and a piano. Ooooooooooh....

And this morning I heard the original before I left the house. :)

once i read in an interview that he sang smells like teen spirit and spice up your life.....i really want to know how that sounded! :D hihi!
