Savage Garden Reunion. How .....?

I was just curious as to how would you react if Savage Garden came back for a limited number of shows?

You know, I don't know what I would do.....I don't think I would really be that in to it. I think that the Solo Darren is the real Darren. It always seemed like he was missing something before. I mean if it was what he wanted and it maid him happy that would be great. As for me....I like it this way....I would be happy though if it maid him and a lot of other people happy. Don't get too mad but, I don't see that happening. At least not soon....I suppose I could be wrong though. I mean since Daniel left Darren high and dry, all on his own, and well to say up the creek without a paddle. I really don't know if I would want to see that happen all over again. As you can see I'm anything but a fan of Daniel Jones...personally I feel like he maid a fool out of Darren. He turned Darren into what could be seen as a big headed, power hungry, male Diva. For that I dislike him...ALOT...Darren tried to cover for him and it maid him look bad. Therefore, I wouldn't be all for it. Of course I would support it. For Darren and Darren alone. I know I sound a little me but, ....what can I say....I think that Daniel did Darren dirty and skipped out on his friend, partner, or what ever you want to call it...thats what I think...If you have a problem with that...well, I'm sorry... thats what I think....and you'll change my mind, no matter how many times you say what a great artist Daniel Jones is!

I personally think both of them have made themselves very clear of what they really want, so for Savage Garden to reform it's really out of the question :cry:

But I hope their record label will issue a special issue, e.g. something like a box set of Savage Garden including all the B sides and their original recordings :!:

Wow!... I like your response MontyGail! ... although I myself don't even know how I would react to the news of Savage Garden reforming. I never said it would happen I just wanted to see a number of peoples reactions to the question. Just to get a feel of other peoples thoughts on what happened I guess. I really respect Darren, he's really showing himself and I wish him the best for the future.

He's really put himself out there and I admire that!.. :)

I don't see it happening....at all......I don't want to see it.....I personally have no respect for Daniel Jones anymore.....he walked out on us and Darren...so I walk out on him....good bye, seeya, don't let the door hit ya on the way out...I don't want anything to do with him..thats how I feel....I know I seem a little over the top with this but, thats how I feel and I will defend it till the end....as most you know I'm not normally like this. It's just that well, I don' think I need to repeat myself :wink:

Anyway, it's good to see that people have the guts to ask questions that can cause major, major, major responses. You know real questions not silly little things. You know this is a really good subject. I wonder what everyone else thinks of Daniel? Maybe one of us should ask this on another forum. This one doesn't get as much attention as some of the rest. Yep I felt like that too Bounce_2002.
But I guess now Darrens gone solo, he's doing the music that he wants to do now and not what SG want to do. He's showing everyone that he can do it and go it alone. And he is damn good, so I suport him all the way.

But it would be great to have just one more SG tour, or a best of album.
