Hi-

When 'IKILY' was performed Live(at least, on the Live versions of it that I have), Darren Hayes sings a line that I think must be a very short cover of some other song. The line is: "Ooh, Baby, yeah..It Feels Like, the Music sounds better with You, Baby....." Does anyone know what this is a cover of?

A song called 'The Music Sounds Better With You' ... I can't remember who actually sang the original song ... possibly a band / group called Stardust??

I did an aol search for "The Music Sounds Better With You lyrics", and the only artist it came up with was someone named Don Phillips. I read the lyrics to his song 'TMSBWY', but I'm not sure if it's the right song. I wonder if Phill Cohen might know.....?

It is definitely stardust ... the lyrics darren sang were basically the enitire lyrics to the song by stardust ....

Ok, I found the lyrics now. You were right, Toby, it was Stardust.
I was wondering, did Darren Hayes ever do a full version of the song, or might he?(I guess that he sang all the words that there are to the song already, though....)

In addition to what I asked before, when Darren Hayes performs 'IKILY' Live on the 'Too Close For Comfort' Tour, will he inject this Stardust cover song in the middle of it? Not the whole thing, but maybe the small part that's on the 'IKILY' Live track on the 'Chained To You' single?
