To be honest, i think he'll surprise us, fans that are not devoted to his music will otherwise be lost and many bad feelings will arise if a dvd or video turns up by the time his next tour is happening, personally, i wont mind when it turns up but i think the sooner the better for darrens sake cause of the reputation he'll get with his 'new' fans.... :)

I just wanna hear a good version of What You Like - the intro bit (the techno thingy which gives Darren time to strap on his guitar) rocks. And I want to know if anyone's been to a TCFC concert where they performed Like It Or Not. It's my fave song from Spin seeing as it sounds most like older SG-styled stuff, and I have several concert recordings but have yet to hear that song live.

I want it more rocky, i think that would attract more fans as rock is more ''in'' well in the UK at least.. :wink:

I saw Like It Or Not (it replaced I Miss You for that show) live at the show in Sydney on September 10, 2002 (the 2nd show) ... it was great :) Darren actually hinted during the soundcheck that he was rehearsing another song but wouldn't tell anyone ... a few of us actually guessd that it would be Like It Or Not and we were right :)

BTW Toby, on some concerts, Santa Monica was performed in the acoustic set, not TTMAB. You might want to note that on your setlist. Also, I forget whether this is on there, but the Mexican shows got TAS.

On 'What You Like', at about 15 seconds in, it sounds like a little bit of 'I knew I Loved You' was sampled.
'Like it or Not' is an excellent track. Anyone noticed on the album that Darren has a thing for the words 'Enough' and 'Like'?
First there's 'Good ENOUGH', then 'I Can't Ever Get ENOUGH of You', then 'LIKE it or Not', and finally 'What You LIKE'.
Just thought it was funny...

I heard LION at the same concert as Toby... I LOVED it because that has got to be one of my favourite tracks in SPIN... the live version was great so I hope it appears on the DVD

SavageRuss: Yeah, and also in several songs he manages to work in something about spinning. From Dirty: "Spin you around, pick you up and go down." Insatiable: "The world revolves, I've let it go." I Miss You: "The world is turning upside down, spinning 'round and 'round." The Heart Wants What It Wants: "Working things over better left unsaid, spinning around in my head." I think there are more in the B-sides, too.

I'll have to listen for that sampled bit.

Erm, on IKILY, when the chorus is sung..., you know, "I Knew I Loved You before I met you...", the music from that bit sounds like the guitar piece played at about 15 secs into WYL. It only sounds like it for a split second, but when I first heard WYL, that sound instantly made me play back IKILY in my head.
It's probably just me being strange. It tends to happen every so often.

Plus, just another thing I've notied. Darren uses the lyrics "10 feet high" in Falling at Your Feet, as well as Spin.
I know some people must think I'm a bit sad for noticing these kind of things..., but you do if you listen to the music all the time.

I kinda hear it too. It's real quick but, I hear. I'm not sure if they sound exactly alike but, they ARE very close.WYL is played much quicker of course.
No, your not strange....I hear it too. Course I've been called strange....sooooo :roll:
